Designed using Mitchell Wool Co. American FIber DK Yarn (60 % USA Raised Suri Alpaca, 40% 18.2 micron American Rambouillet, 150 yd/137 m, 50g) in Midnight [MC] and Spincycle Yarns Dream State (100% Superwash American Wool, 150 yd/137 m, 50g in Ghost Ranch [CC].

 

Yarn requirements by yardage:

Main Color: 65, 75, 85 (95, 103, 113) yd

Contrast Color: 38, 44, 50 (56, 60, 66) yd

 

Yarn requirements by meter:

Main Color: 59, 69, 78, (87, 94, 103) m

Contrast Color: 35, 40, 46 (51, 55, 60) m

 

NOTE: If you choose a folded brim, yardage will be increased by 15, 19, 21 (23, 25, 27) yd / 14.3, 17.5, 19.5 (21.6, 23.5, 25.5) m.

 

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

RIBBING: US 5/3.5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needle

BODY: US 7/4.05 mm 16”/40 cm circular needle and DPNs

 

GAUGE

24 sts x 28 rnds = 4”/10 cm, in stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, blocked
